Planning for Valentines Day? Heres a list of the most romantic restaurants the Queen City has to offer. Your favorite not on the list? Let us know, and tell us why, and well get it added! Have you been thinking of checking out the Carolinas Aviation Museum or the NASCAR Hall of Fame but havent had the chance yet? Check out a photo gallery of both museums to see what they have to offer. The Carolinas Aviation Museum photo gallery features different aircraft, including the Miracle on the Hudson plane while the NASCAR Hall of Fame photo gallery showcases the Halls different aspects - from cars to a transporter to simulators. Tremont Music Hall will host its first Carolina Vinyl and CD Show Sunday, January 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $2. In addition to vinyl, vendors will also sell CDs, DVDs, and other memorabilia. The bar will be open and food vendors will be on hand as well. Vinyl has actually seen a rise in recent years in part due to decreasing CD sales. In fact, many current mainstream artists, are still releasing albums on vinyl. Auditions for the hit NBC TV show "Americas Got Talent" are headed to Charlotte. Auditions will be held Friday, Feb. 3 and Sat. Feb 4 at the Charlotte Convention Center, 501 South College Street. Doors will be open by 10 a.m. Friday and close at 10 p.m. Saturday, doors open at 8 p.m. and close at 7 p.m. Auditions are usually help Saturday and Sunday, but the a day was switched due to the Super Bowl. 1) Be original. |
