Auditions for the hit Fox TV show "Americas Got Talent" are headed to Charlotte.

Auditions will be held Friday, Feb. 3 and Sat. Feb 4 at the Charlotte Convention Center, 501 South College Street. Doors will be open by 10 a.m. Friday and close at 10 p.m. Saturday, doors open at 8 p.m. and close at 7 p.m. Auditions are usually help Saturday and Sunday, but the a day was switched due to the Super Bowl.

1) Be original. 2) Dont be boring. 3) Stand out from the crowd. 4) Be fearless. Here is some more advice:

Dress to impress. Come with the outfit you want to wear on TV. �It doesnt hurt to wear something youre comfortable in but will also let you stand out in the crowd.

PAPERWORK: Not only is the paperwork important for contact information etc but it is a chance for you to share some stories and information about yourself and your talent. Producers do take the time to read your application, because we may not have time to ask you questions in the audition room it is always helpful to know a little bit about you.

Nominations begin January 18th. The selections with the most nominations will move on to a reader vote. Voting will be from February 22 to March 21, and winners will be announced March 30, 2012.
